厦门大学嘉庚学院对外交流与合作部，是学校涉外相关工作的归口管理部门，主要职责如下：

一、根据学校的发展目标和整体战略，依据教育国际司、福建省教育厅有关国际教育交流的政策法规，结合学校实际情况，明确对外交流与合作的方向、重点领域和目标，制定具体的实施细则和管理办法，确保学校的对外交流活动合法合规、有序开展。

二、根据国家留学网及省厅对外合作处发布的项目信息，遴选适合我校学生的项目进行宣传推广、招生咨询、申报指导等工作。

三、负责校际合作项目的统筹管理及招生工作，包括校际合作项目的组织与实施、评估与反馈、协议管理与更新，以及出国（境）留学咨询、出国（境）行前安全培训等。在校生通过现有合作项目，可前往马来西亚、韩国、匈牙利、新加坡、德国、澳大利亚等国进一步深造。

Who We Are & What We do

As the centralized administrative department responsible for the university's foreign-related affairs, the International Office assumes the following main responsibilities:

Ø In line with the university's development goals and overall strategy, pursuant to the policies and regulations on international educational exchanges promulgated by the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges of the Ministry of Education and Fujian Provincial Department of Education, and in light of the college's actual circumstances, the Office shall clarify the orientation, key areas and objectives of international exchange and cooperation, formulate specific implementation rules and administrative measures, so as to ensure the legal compliance and orderly conduct of all the international exchange activities.

Ø Based on the program information released by the National Study Abroad Service Platform and the Foreign Cooperation Office of Fujian Provincial Department of Education, the Office shall select programs suitable for the college's students, and conduct related work including promotion, enrollment consultation and application guidance.

Ø The Office shall be responsible for the overall management and enrollment of intercollegiate cooperation programs, including the organization and implementation, evaluation and feedback, agreement management and renewal of such programs, as well as consultation on overseas study and pre-departure safety training for students going abroad. Through the existing cooperation programs, current students are eligible to pursue further studies in Malaysia, South Korea, Hungary, Singapore, Germany, Australia and other countries.
